For most, our perception of self according to psychologists is based off how we think others perceive us to be. Therefore, our identities are created in essence by the perception of others. Our upcoming exhibition Through the Looking Glass has intrigued me to ask featured artists to create a work that represents their perception of self; an extension of themselves, based off what the world perceives them to be. The final piece will be a mirrored image of their artistry, their story.
